Write a Letter To a Lost Loved One (Human or Pet!) Online Writing Workshop

If you could say anything to your lost loved one, what would you say?
In the spirit of honoring our ancestors and Día de los Muertos, and through a fun lively environment, this gentle online writing class offers a meaningful opportunity to remember someone or a pet you love—and write directly to them. All are welcome, NO PRIOR WRITING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Through simple, guided writing Invitations and clear, supportive process, you’ll create a personal letter to someone who is no longer physically here: a parent, grandparent, partner, friend, mentor, family member—or beloved pet. You might share a favorite memory, say what you miss, tell them what has happened since they’ve been gone, thank them for what they gave you, or simply remind them how deeply they are still loved.
This is not about being a “writer.” It’s about love, honor, remembrance, and staying connected to them through words. Let’s create room for more love in a busy, weird world…
